Due to the impact of the PLI scheme, smartphone production has more than doubled to ₹5.45 lakh crore in FY25 from ₹2.1 lakh crore in FY20. Exports have increased to over ₹2 lakh crore in the reported period, from a mere ₹27,225 crore.
